The Micropaleontology Laboratory serves as a teaching and a research laboratory. Various classes requiring laboratory work on sediments are held in this laboratory. This area also serves as the main preparation room for our samples. The laboratory is equipped with tools to perform preparation techniques for the study of macro-, micro-, and nannofossils. Aside from preparation, different methods of analysis are also done in this laboratory. Some of these would include foraminifera picking, grain size analysis, and pipette analysis.
