The thesis defense of Mr. Joeven Austine Calvelo was held last March 18, 2026, 3:00 PM at the NIGS Seminar Room. His research is entitled “Coccolithophore-Environment Relationship and Coccolithophore-Based Transfer Functions in the Western Pacific,” with the thesis committee composed of Dr. Alyssa M. Peleo-Alampay (adviser), Dr. Iván Hernández Almedia (co-adviser) of Past Global Changes International Project Office, Switzerland, Dr. Leopoldo P. de Silva Jr. (reader), Dr. Allan Gil S. Fernando (examiner), and Dr. John Dale B. Dianala (examiner).
